Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse is investigating the extent to which institutions have failed to protect children from sexual abuse.

The Inquiry will investigate whether public bodies and other non-state institutions in England and Wales have taken seriously their responsibility to protect children from sexual abuse, and make meaningful recommendations for change in the future.

For further information visit the IICSA website.

A number of investigations are taking place as part of the inquiry.

This includes The Truth Project, which has been set up to hear the voices of victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.

If you are interested in contributing your voice and want to find out more, please visit the IIICSA section for victims and survivors for further detail.

If you are an agency working in Buckinghamshire, please consider whether you can display The Truth Project Poster and The Truth Project Fact Sheet to encourage people to share their story.
